03/01/2008......Moving to bigger premises.......In recent years we have outgrown our Granville Street training centre, we are pleased that we have now aquired the former Lansing Linde Castle premises on South Humberside Industrial Estate to create a bigger and better training facility for our customers.

giant.......Wr Training Services have today clinched an important contract
with a well known global petroleum giant further increasing our 'blue chip'
client base, we are proud that so many household brand names entrust their
training requirements to us. 25/02/2005......Our 10,000th successful
trainee. We are pleased to announce this milestone, Jane
Forrington has become our 10,000th successful trainee gaining both Reach
and Counterbalance qualifications-well done from the
team. 01/08/2004......Approved provider to the Isle of Man
Government.......We are now an approved contractor to the Isle of Man
Government and are listed on the select services register, this enables
Manx businesses to claim a training grant of upto 50% when they train with
us. 02/08/2002......WR Training Services are awarded CIEH
accreditation. We are now a Chartered Institute of
Environmental Health 'CIEH' Approved centre, this enables us to offer
a variety of CIEH courses to our customers such as Manual Handling, COSHH,
and Foundation in Health and Safety, all leading to formal CIEH
qualification and certification, these are inexpensive one day courses suitable
for all levels of employees, they are designed to help employers to comply with
legislation by providing necessary training to help ensure
the health, safety and welfare of their workforce. In particular
Manual Handling related injury claims can be notoriously difficult to
fight and very expensive to settle, it makes sense to educate all employees who
are engaged in Manual Handling operations, the CIEH offers an inexpensive 3 hour
course which we can deliver on customer premises or at our fully equipped

15/02/2002.......WR Training Services have now been awarded dual accreditation to both ITSSAR & RTITB. "We have responded to our customers needs" says General Manager Paul Collins, "We are now able to offer a choice of ITSSAR or RTITB qualifications, and I feel that the flexibility and scope of dual accreditation will allow us continued growth and the capability to provide the industry with operators fully conversant with all aspects of Materials Handling".
